8 and half hours Til 2014

So many people have arrived. It's like all b&t people coming in from all over just for tonight. These people are nuts , a few already shitfaced with paint all over them and it's 330pm. I've also seen 1 person walking around butt naked .

Today is New Year's Eve in haad rin. We will celebrate your future . 60,000 people on one beach . There is a lot of neon here. This is where I get my inspiration for my neon parties . I'm going back to bed for now . Jason and I rocked the one direction and bieber tanks last night. Great peacocking. Who knows what the future entails... Oh wait I do

Pucket - lions and ping pong , ice cream and 1 direction

Currently in a van with the crew on our way to full moon party in haad rin. Will be a 6-7 hour commute and then a short ferry. We have a DVD player in the van so we bought a bootleg version is anchorman 2 ... Pretty terrible . You can see people walking up in the theatre and camera was shaking. Yesterday we got to Phucket and stayed for one night and we left this am at 10am . 

Yesterday We made a pit stop at Haagen daez ice cream near our hotel/hostel. Steve got into it with the workers there bc they secretly charged us for a "sitting down" fee so basically if you decide to sit down in the shop they charge you 10 more baat (33 cents)... But they don't tell u they just add it to the bill and assumed we were all sitting since I just took a seat first without knowing . There was a small yelling match but no blood . Steve stood up and ate his ice cream . They have the flavor called salty caramel and it's incredible . 

In the afternoon we went to go play with tigers. A great experience a little freaked out but it was very cool. They are massive animals. It was either playing with tigers or shooting guns because we didn't have enough time.

We went to ping pong show last night - it will change your life. If you want to learn more about this- google it.

Also I finally found my one direction tank top- huge . 4.50 dollar purchase. Thanks to Beinsteinberger who found it in a shop before we left this AM.

Phi phi- day 3 and 4. Scuba / Phucket

We are currently on a ferry from phi phi to pucket so I hope I don't get sea sick .  It's been 2 hours. Phi phi day 3 I had a chance to scuba for the first time.. It was a very cool experience... It's a little bizarre that you are under water 50-60ft and ur breathing through a mask for 45 min straight . Sometimes felt a little claustrophobic but the 2nd dive I got used to it . Our. 2nd dive was actually at maya beach (where they filmed The Beach) .. Got some awesome GoPro footage. Apparently we did level 2 skill diving and I had 2 other females in my group totally 3 people to one instructer.

On the first dive I accidentally touched a venomous poison fish - called a Bearded Scorpionfish (22cm)... That was fun. Luckily I wasn't bit or back to America 

2nd dive I used up all my oxygen ..had about 5-7 minutes left on my gage when we pulled back up .

Now that i know what I'm doing or what to expect id definitely do it again. The rest of the crew went on a long tail boat ride and did a little snorkeling and site seeing around phi phi islands. 

The night life is very similar to a fire island situation where it's a small area and everyone goes to the same spot each night on the beach to play with fire /fire shows and drink buckets with techno music. The main spot is called Slinkys. The whole island sounds like a big techno festival and play music every night til 4am. You can hear the nnts nnts nnts every night vibrating through our rooms. 

Day 4

 Mainly chilled on beach in afternoon rented snorkels and hiked to long beach about a 35 minute hike from main area  . We didn't see too much activity in that spot so we paid for a long tail to take us about a quarter mile out to a place where you can potentially see reef sharks. Came up empty but still saw some good stuff rainbow fish etc.

After this experience Wolff Levin and I went to the phi phi viewing point to watch the sunset. It was magical. It was a hike.. Came back and hit a wall. 

I stayed in last night to rest up for what Lies ahead. I wasn't feeling that great. Everyone else went out so I had a bit of fomo. I tried putting on my headphones and listening to soothing music to knock me out but instead I found myself listening to the techno remix of Coldplay . All I can hear in the background is the nnts nnts nnts nnts nnts . Took a sleeping pill and passed out. 

Tonight we will experience Phucket- land of the Ping ping shows, Thai prostitutes, guns and potentially a nice dinner. 

Rumor has it Steve is participating in the Ping pong shows tonight . 

Also I got my laundry done and my first name  was apparently lost in translation to "Prik" see below.

Phi phi recap day 2

Yesterday We went back to monkey beach...took a kayak over to the area prob 20 min commute- my traps are killing me.. I was anticipating the scene of that viral video where the guy comes back years later and sees the lion he set back into the wild. I was so amped. At first we thought the monkeys were dead we saw nothing.. I started questioning life and the trip as a whole.. No monkeys on monkey beach? Are you shitting me. but then it happened and a crew of monkeys appeared from the rocks near the shore.  I took about 60 pics -highlight of the day. For most of the day we just bummed around te beach and then went reggae bar to pregame. This is where you can challenge your friends or randoms

to a Muay Thai fight and winner gets a free bucket . Great concept . More fire ropes and rings of fire on beach and laid off the buckets last night just beers. For some reason thought it was fun to have our bodies "professionally"painted in neon paint last night . Looked like a Picasso on my back... Woke up this Am and my sheets are a complete mess. That said I'm going diving today! 

Side note- so many ozzies here . Met one girl who was an extra on Jamie . She also said they filmed the show at her high school so that was a trip.. Note- Not actively in high school. @chrishanson

Sumit passed out at Muay Thai fight

Sumit was lights out around 10pm the event ended at 1030 and everyone cleared out but sumit was out cold and didn't wake up . We left him there to see how long it would go.. Literally the last person to be in the stadium that holds about 3k people. The security / clean up crew woke him up and we watched from afar. 

Also- I've had 6 ham&cheese sandwiches already from 7-eleven and it's only been 3 days. 

We are now in ok phi phi eating lunch and waiting for our room to be ready. Oh yea we are staying in a pirate house.

Krabi recap- elephants , Muay Thai, rock climbing, monkey,babies and tats

Yesterday was our last day in krabi... Me and Wolff went rock climbing yesterday morning... Rock climbing is just not my thing ... I think I swang on the rope more than actual climbing but finally had a successful run at the end. 

The rest of the day we just chilled on the Railay beach and met up with those NYC locals we met randomly on the first day. We drank on the beach and headed back to the main area for the evening. Later that night at 9pm (9am est) .. We went to a Muay Thai fight which was an interesting .. At the end of the night they has small children in the ring which just seemed wrong on many levels. Prob 8 -10 years old.

Krabi was a great place to come for the touristy activities .. And if you want a monkey and baby within the same day, this place is for you. 

Next stop is Ko phi phi.  We went a few years ago, it's a lot more backpackers and people are age and should be a fun scene.  We decided to go for one extra night in phi phi instead of 4 nights in krabi . 

Swimming with elephants

Today was awesome. First we walked around the krabi streets this afternoon - met a few people from New York.. One happened to live on 15 th and 4th ave! Small world. Beinsteinberger ended up hanging out with them for the rest of the day and went back to the beach we were at yesterday. The rest of us went to play with elephants. We did a pretty good elephant trek through the brush / "jungle" and then we had a chance to swim with the elephants in a body of water/river  I got some awesome GoPro video and pics . I'm posting sporadically on social to gage the most social media traction. Too many pics at once will dilute my results. You know? 

We are going to grab some food and get a few drinks and maybe watch the bills game at 1am tonight. It will be the Bills first Monday night football game in a Long ass time.

Railay beach #yolo mushroom face

Today we went to Railay beach, an island just a few minute boat ride off of krabiand hung out there for the day. Pretty chill and it was a nice laid back beach town. We came back around 6pm, had dinner around 8pm and Sumit passed out the earliest. He actually left dinner early bc he was passing out at the dinner table every 2 minutes and needed to go to bed 

Railay was pretty amazing beaches, warm turquoise water and very relaxing . We saw 2 base jumpers go diving off some of the biggest cliffs in Railay-it was a pretty cool scene .

Today-(this Am is 930 Sunday)

we are going to play with elephants and potentially rock climbing. we also need to fit in muay Thai fighting before we leave for phi phi. I think we are all on conclusion 3 nights of krabi is more than enough time.

Last night got a little fuzzy.... some how received an all expenses paid "#yolo" henna tattoo on my rib cage... Way to kick off the vacation .

We also found a mushroom with a smiley face in it :)... Probably worth billions. See below?

7- elevens

7-eleven....did you know there are 2400 7-elevens in Thailand?

They have the best ham and cheese sandwiches on the planet . That was my first purchase . 2 for 70 baht = $2.25 . Our flight is at 630am to krabi ... Just waiting to board. 

Also - Steve has yet to eat ice cream and is going through withdrawal .

We arrived in Bangkok

I've come to the conclusion we all feel like a bag of dicks. 24 hours of flying plus now another flight to Krabi in 4 hours. 

I'm standing in the airport of Bangkok and sumit steve and I are salivating over the access to free wifi on our phones . What has this world come to. I'd give up anything for a chance to post on social media in Bangkok to show everyone that I here , checked in .. Anything for a like or a comment  . Anything 

We shall be in krabi in 6 hours.. It's 220am. Our next flight is at an airport 40 min away from BKk. 

Osaka -14 hour commute

We are about 20 minutes from Osaka, Japan. We have a 90 min layover and then we just get back on the same plane to Taiwan and then from there to Bangkok .. No big deal. 

You may ask yourself ...What does one do on a 14 hour flight to Japan?  The obvious answer is to watch One Direction's new movie- This is Us from start to finish .. No stoppage time. What a true classic. 

Also - I must give a shout out to We're the Millers. lots of LOL moments. Lots 

I forgot to mention that while Steve has smuggled in cheesesteak, Wolff has made very specific requests to secure high end sunscreen from the USA in large volume overseas. SPF 30. Mission accomplished. 

We are already losing

Can driver dropped us off at air china terminal 1... No one realized there is a china air and air china in the same airport/ no one cared to check. We are already losing .. Had to make our way to terminal 4. Luckily we had some time to spare

What we know so far...

Steve confirmed he's smuggled a Philly cheesesteak (Which he in fact purchased last night) through security .... Classic .

He also found his calling already

The sun is up - I've made it through the night

For the past 8 hours I've managed to pack, download mp3s, gym, pie face at 3am, shower 2x and watch 1 episode of Jamie - episode 2. Great show on HBO.  This is all off of 1 20oz red bull and 1 coffee, premium roast.  Im meeting Steve and Sumit at 11AM for our high class black car to take us to the airport. flight is at 1:50pm . I can't wait to pass out on the plane for 14 hours.

Correction- this should be posting at 7:51AM EST.

Trying to get on schedule for Thailand time

Okay i went to bed at 3pm this afternoon, woke up at 8pm , and now I'm trying to pull an all nighter like I'm 12 years ago as my flight is at 2pm .. 24 hours and 2 pit stops. .. I've crushed a 20oz red bull and listening to random iTunes radio techno music. i want to do so many activities right now but no body is up and wants to do anything. some potential ideas for the next 11 hours but not limited to…create more garage band music

learn to read
play games with myself
invent games
start a social network for people that pull all nighters when they are 29


the object of this is not just for fun- it typically takes 5 days to get over a 12 hour jet let which would cut into my trip of 12 days so I'm really trying to minimize this situation.

Shock & Awe Phase II

We will be departing from US Soil at 2pm EST on Thursday to fight the largest ariel battle of man kind in Thailand. I will be back in the United States in 2014 if the operation is successful.
